RichardRichard Boateng, Founder, Ewuraba.com
Dr. Richard Boateng, is  the Director of Research at the International Center for Information Technology and Development at the College of Business, Southern University. He holds postgraduate and doctorate degrees from the University of Manchester, where he undertook a research on the resource-based analysis of e-commerce in resource poor environments.

Richard’s research interests have two primary components: business informatics – the study of the Internet and knowledge management in the context of business organizations and development informatics – a focus on the interplay between the diffusion, transfer and impact of the ICTs on resource poor environments and institutional elements that would shape it. These components embrace topics including Knowledge management; Electronic business; Mobile commerce; Web 2.0 for non-profit organizations; ICTs for development; Gender, fashion and the Internet; and Creative Industries (Computer Games and Music) and resource poor environments.

Dr. Boateng’s research has been published in conference proceedings, books and journals including Internet Research, Development and Learning in Organizations, Journal of African Business, Journal of Internet Banking and Commerce, Information Development, and the Electronic Journal of Information Systems in Developing Countries.

Richard is the founder of Pearl Richards Concepts (PRC), a project that turns research ideas and concepts into sustainable development projects and business enterprises. One of the projects of PRC is Ewuraba.com, a gender development project which gives Professional African women the opportunity to share their profiles, creative ventures, business, talents and skills with other women and the world.

Jerome Tabiri is a Co-Founder of the Ewuraba.com and the Projects Coordinator of Cirrus Group (a Consortium of Companies that is involved in the Oil, Logistics and Property Sector in Ghana) since 2003. Jerome is also a partner in Neju Limited, a business entity that is involved in commodity trading in Ghana. He holds a Masters Degree in Engineering for Development from University of Southampton in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor degree in  Agricultural Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. He also holds a certificate in Fundamental Finance for the Technical Executive from the Sloan School of Management of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

As part of his duties as the Project Coordinator for Cirrus Group of Companies, Jerome has been involved in several projects that include the Cirrus Oil Loading Terminal and Dennis House (Cirrus Group offices) which were both completed in 2008. He is presently working on a hospital project being undertaken by the Cirrus Group scheduled to complete in 2011. Other projects yet to take of include a holiday resort and a deep sea port that yet to break ground.

Jerome is also the lead in developing software to mainstream the day-to-day of the oil-trading arm of the Cirrus Group. He is also the project owner of the accounts management interface that runs the finance department of the Cirrus Group of Companies.

Jerome has been involved with Richard Boateng in developing ideas and starting projects since 2000. Jerome speaks English and French. He resides in Accra, Ghana.

Papa Poku Sarpong is  the Co-founder of Ewuraba.com and the Managing Director of Amourest Consult, a consultancy involved in a portfolio of projects in information technology and automobile sectors in Ghana. Papa holds Post-graduate diploma in Information Technology from  Ghana-India Kofi Annan Center of Excellence in Information Technology and a Bachelor degree in  Renewable Natural Resources from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana.

Papa is the founder of MyFineRide.com, an online automobile portal which offers Ghanaians the convenience of buying affordable, high quality, efficient and guaranteed used and new cars. He currently consults on automobile trading for financial institutions in Ghana.
